Great village pub! Friendly staff. Good selection of ales & fantastic fish n chips! Excellent value for money. Brilliant
Had yet another superb meal in the White Hart. Staff are happy and friendly. Landlord always so welcome. Excellent quality food. Always piping hot and great portions. Thanks once again team.
This hotel is 100% a diamond in the ruff! When you park up and walk into the bar you straight away think local bar I'm not welcome please dont let me sit in John's seat (however I did not have a drink here!). JUst the impression I got as I walked in from the 2 guys smoking outside Who when I said hello the reply was how do as they looked at the floor!
However when the bar maid took me upstairs to show me my room I was pleasantly surprised! The room was immaculate! It was well presented and very understated! I'd 100% stay here again it was very spacious and there was plenty of tea and coffee. It was clean and tidy! Television had all of the channels and I was under no pressure to leave in the morning! I'd 100% recommend to anyone and next time I stay I'll have a drink and update of the locals are welcoming!
Just spent a week at The White Hart and can't praise it enough. After paying very reasonable rates, we were given a 5 star service. John and Suzy run a tight ship and work closely with their staff, a real team.
Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast more than ample and the evening meals were great. The roasts, Sunday and midweek were the best we've had in a long time. The bar was well stocked and glasses sparkling clean. Keep up the good work.
Great room bed comfortable, food great and they are dog friendly. Asked if they could cook me some chicken for dog and it was no problem. Friendly local and nicebar.Very friendly owners and staff nothing too much trouble.recommend will stay here again
Staying here because of working nights in the area. Quaint building with lovely traditional features. Large comfy bed and excellent breakfast. Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, cannot do enough for you. One of the best places I have stayed.
Don't know why this gets such low reviews . Ok it is a bit threadbare pub in a tiny Cornish village . However we could take the dog in there .The locals were friendly, and it had a great selection of local beers and ciders. All well kept ,and I nearly fell over when I paid much cheaper than at home . I love the Cornish beers especially St Austells . You wont find a better pint of 'Proper Job ' .The place does food and doubles as the local takeaway fish and chip shop . We purchased some one night ( fish and chips)to take home to our nearby holiday cottage and they were delicious.
Everything i asked for, was provided.
Jonathan and Suzy are the best host's.
Animal friendly, close to Plymouth, fowy, and etc.
Wow. Booked in for 3 nights and wish Id stayed longer. Quiet little pub in a village. Landlord and Landlady are very friendly, staff likewise. Thank you. Definitely come back again.
Found this gem of a pub absolutely love it the owners extremely welcoming, breakfast is lush, nice variety of evening meals, and don't miss out on the Sunday lunch!
Bedroom spotless comfy bed
And you may even get to walk home one of the locals 😂
This is a great pub with good food and pleasant staff with spacious rooms warm and clean highly recommended. We stopped here during the trip to pick up goods purchased on eBay and found a worm fire and pleasant greeting
We had a nice family meal. Three teenagers were very satisfied with their meals. Good value and very pleasant evening.
