Went with friends for our Christmas dinner. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff. Very accommodating when one of the party wanted a normal menu choice rather than the set festive menu. And also understanding when some people cancelled.
Have stayed at the Inn many times during last 10 years. It is a great place for stopovers. Staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are superb with everything a traveller could need. Food delicious.
Food was excellent however, grime on salt and pepper pots and menus were filthy. I mentioned that it was my son’s birthday on the booking form but absolutely nothing said or acknowledged. They were not busy, 2 other people being served but that was it. No excuses, shoddy.
Very very expensive. £100 for 2 people for 2 courses and coffee including service and didn't even drink alcohol. |£3.75 for 5 balls of stuffing is daylight robbery. I think this is the only pub/restaurant I've visited where stuffing is not …
Fantastic pub and great friendly staff. Amazing menu & delicious food. Great drinks menu. Easy access. Very clean and neat.
