Aberglais Inn

Amazing place, and such lovely people. We turned up after the kitchen had closed with nowhere else to go, and they reopened it for us and made the three of us a fantastic curry, and then even drove us 4 miles back to our Airbnb at 10.30pm after some great pints. Fabulous experience and so overwhelmingly kind. Would definitely recommend!

A gem of a find last night when we couldn't decide where to go. I wanted proper local pub food and it didn't disappoint. They were fully booked but we were able to grab a table outside on the covered terrace. The steak pie was fantastic, as were the chunky chips, peas and gravy to accompany it. Very busy place but we weren't waiting long and the service was super friendly. Prices very good too. Will definitely return.

Whilst in Garwant e needed a place that was dog friendly & gluten free. Found this little gem & headed to it. We hadn’t made a reservation but the lady who run the bar managed to squeeze out part of 6 + dog in. There was plenty of parking opposite the Inn & inside was really nice. Like a modern take on old country style. Everything was clean & looked quite new. The place was busy/popular & the atmosphere was brilliant. There’s a small courtyard outdoor space too, some of it covered too. The food was amazing. We all enjoyed it very much & the kids also enjoyed a pudding. The gluten free menu has quite a few dishes on it. Prices very reasonable too. All in all we would definitely recommend this place.

Food A ⭐️ Wow the Best salt and spicy chicken wings I've ever had!!! Had the whole family here for my mums birthday, they really looked after her, she had an amazing prawn cocktail (her favourite) very generous. The staff were brilliant and helped us with gluten free and vege options for some of our party. The steaks and rich sauces were perfect too. They have a nice river nearby which has a lovely walk, they are dog friendly too.
