My favourite pub in the area. Visited for the first time since opening under new management. The Sunday roast was delicious and was great value. The only feedback I have would be that there could have been more meat served, however there was a huge of variety of veg so did not go hungry. The owner and staff were super friendly!

The Bridge Inn is one of those places that you could easily miss as it’s tucked away near the river, but luckily google maps help and the Airbnb where we stayed recommended this place too. It didn’t disappoint. The food was yummy and the Pimms was a nice addition given the summer weather. The Bridge Inn has a really nice vibe and is located right next to the river, really nice tranquil setting with lovely food and company 🤗

What a gorgeous little find! We were recommended to visit by our AirBnb and we were not disappointed. A lovely setting for an evening meal, menu was small but varied and the food was delicious! Wolfed down by us both and the Pimms was a perfect drink for a warm Saturday evening! Would definitely visit again if I’m ever in the area (or even book to try the rooms!)

Magic setting. Catches the evening sun under a weeping willow beside the river Escley.
Great waney edged wood furniture and dining room fixtures.
Kimchi Arancini was excellent. Other dishes good (but not worth writing home about!)
Good pint of Butty Bach.
Wood come again.
BTW pop into the church while you’re here - superb structure.
