Nice restaurant with nice food , wasn't the warmest place I've eaten in . Would definitely go again Both of us had Sundays roast , chicken and pork. Both nicely cooked

We dined here Friday evening, and have done many times in the Summer (the outside is so beautiful & such friendly lovely staff on the bar outside !) The food was amazing, my partner had the fish and chips and I went for the mussels - both were delicious! All of the Staff were super friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back :)

My wife & I together with our son, daughter in law and baby granddaughter enjoyed a short break in Mickleton and has dinner last Tuesday evening.
We were made very welcome and were shown to a table that accommodated us well.
The food was exceptional and sourced, I believe, locally wherever possible. We ordered off the blackboard that I am told changes daily
The food is modern British and the puddings were to die for. I recommend the sticky toffee pudding.
Thankyou to all the staff who made our meal memorable.

What a find this place was!
Excellent village pub with absolutely fantastic atmosphere and food. Dog friendly too. We had our Labrador with us and was welcomed by all of the staff.
The main pub, facing the road, has a traditional bar & lounge layout dating back to the mid 1730's. Complete with an inglenook style fire place.
Choice of ales and popular beers avail6 on tap, and served by very friendly staff too.
To the left side of the pub is a large car park.
To the rear of the pub which is accessible from the car park, the bar or even the small village footpath behind the garden area, which leads to and from the church.
The garden area deserves a special mention as well. The outdoor area is huge, and has masses of different styles of seating and tables, most of which are in covered areas, but others are in the open garden if the weather is sunny.
In addition to all the seating, there's a staffed bar and open grill with chef, serving food, which was really tasty. Try the halloumi cheese fries, and the humous they were delightful.

Cozy traditonal atmosphere. Good service. Pleasantly surprised to find duck on the menu. It was presented nicely, though I thought it could have been more tender. Glad to have found a quiet place to enjoy dinner in Mickleton.
