What an absolutely beautiful, cozy cafe, and perfectly located in the heart of the stunning Yorkshire dales. There’s no place better to go for a hot drink and bite to eat. The staff were lovely, welcoming and well mannered. I had a brilliant bacon, lettuce and tomato toasted sandwich with some fresh
A gorgeous little cosy tea room in the heart of a historical village. The people are so lovely and welcoming, we just wanted to stay here all day. We both had warm, freshly baked goodies and shared a pot of Yorkshire Tea. It has a real feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home while remaining cl
Called in here for a light bite for lunch. Friendly service and a cosy quirky interior. We ordered the bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich and corned beef and beetroot. Both were lovely and presented well with homemade coleslaw n crisps. Latte was a bit milky for me, needed another shot but that'
I visited the cafe today, for a full breakfast and a cup of tea. Fantastic Atmosphere really cosy, and staff were really nice. Breakfast was amazing. It's wasn't your normal cheap Produce, it was good quality. One of the best breakfasts I have had in years .... Thank you Regards Kay singh
Cosiest cafe ever and really friendly. Great decor, a high chair, dog treats, board games, free WiFi, a fireplace… the lot! Food was lovely, served with a full salad and perfect sized drinks.
Food was delicious! Location is very nice and outside seating area is gorgeously quirky. Lovely spot for lunch!
After a cold wet ride from the border. We were met with smiles and a warm log burner with space for our jackets and perfect food. Absolutely magic thanks.
Visited late today and we were the only customers. The tea room is quite small but felt very neat and clean. All the tables had linen tablecloths topped with glass. We both had scones, which were a good size and tasted delicious. I opted for a redbush tea and my wife had Earl Grey. A very pleasant e
Amazing ruin with a very impressive Keep which can be climbed by the more hardy (keep is not accessible to disabled) to give great views of the site and surrounding area. Parking is right outside and the area is flat but grassy with some access ramps. Very friendly staff with a small gift shop. No t

A very nice and friendly tea room with superb warm scones, jam and cream 😋 Coffee was good as well.
Can't comment on the rooms. But had a lovely coffee and cake with warm friendly staff and great decor, interior and exterior.
12 walkers made very welcome. Lovely spacious cafe. Speedy service. Lovely tea and fabulous freshly baked scones. Yummy!
Fantastic little place, a real family run business, the food was amazing, I know a cheese toastie sounds basic, but it was delicious and came with a tasty salad, freshly prepared, my tea for one was actually tea for four the time I'd finished and my freshly made scone with cream and jam, just WOW ❤️
Lovely homemade soup. Courteous and friendly service and good view of the horses returning from the gallop. Good value for money.
Lovely fresh food and great service! Please note this is a cash only establishment - the nearest cash point is across the road in the local shop.
