I visited the cafe today, for a full breakfast and a cup of tea. Fantastic Atmosphere really cosy, and staff were really nice. Breakfast was amazing. It's wasn't your normal cheap Produce, it was good quality. One of the best breakfasts I have had in years .... Thank you Regards Kay singh

After a cold wet ride from the border. We were met with smiles and a warm log burner with space for our jackets and perfect food. Absolutely magic thanks.

Can't comment on the rooms. But had a lovely coffee and cake with warm friendly staff and great decor, interior and exterior.

Amazing scones. Stopped here for a light lunch. Cosy little place offering good quality food and probably the scones I’ve ever eaten

Cosiest cafe ever and really friendly. Great decor, a high chair, dog treats, board games, free WiFi, a fireplace… the lot! Food was lovely, served with a full salad and perfect sized drinks.

Excellent experience, catered for two vegans. Cozy vibe with the fire. Friendly staff, and stayed open till 4:30 as busy.

Amazing ruin with a very impressive Keep which can be climbed by the more hardy (keep is not accessible to disabled) to give great views of the site and surrounding area. Parking is right outside and the area is flat but grassy with some access ramps. Very friendly staff with a small gift shop. No toilets on site but public ones are a short walk away. Do watch children as there are many areas where they could easily fall as this is a ruin, not a play area.

Visited late today and we were the only customers. The tea room is quite small but felt very neat and clean. All the tables had linen tablecloths topped with glass. We both had scones, which were a good size and tasted delicious. I opted for a redbush tea and my wife had Earl Grey. A very pleasant experience all round and made even better by costing less than £10. Will definitely come back next time we are in the Dales.
