Great spot for an amazing veggie breakfast! The staff was super nice and gave us good recommendations (one of the best veggie sausages I had) The coffee is quite pricey for the area but it is exceptional. The place is dog friendly so bring your fluff.

I was genuinely impressed by my brunch experience this morning. I have been to Bedford St Coffee before which has been enjoyable but it has never been this good! I ordered Eggs Bedford a turmeric latte and a caramel tea. It was truly delicious such enjoyable flavours and quality ingredients. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive. I'm looking forward to my return visit and trying one of the heavenly looking cakes :D

Doubletake

When I stumbled upon Bedford St Coffee (shown as Rounton Coffee Roasters) I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting. Me and my girlfriend came across the place after peering down the side-street which is tucked away opposite what used to be The Captain’s Table, half-way down Bedford Street, Middlesbrough. After walking in we were offered to take a seat and a menu was brought over. That’s when we noticed. I’m not 100% sure what the theme of Bedford St is but it certainly seems to like its healthy and wholesome food. The menu features big bowls filled with a medley of veggies and overall goodness; with the option of adding bacon of course. We opted to try Eggs Benedict for the first time here which set us back a cool £8 but being the first try, our expectations were a blank slate. Delicious. What arrived on our plates was what looked like a generous slice of wholemeal bread and flavoursome hand cut ham chunks with two perfectly done eggs perched on top. Needless to say we enjoyed our experience here. It’s not the biggest menu but there is more of a menu to discover. They offer protein and veggie Buddha bowls, light bites, smokey smash brunches and loose leaf teas. (Not that it’s really relevant, but the Tardis blue napkins did kinda impress me too) So I urge you to come give them a try. Make sure you know though that the brunch in this review is only an option from 8am-3pm and it looks like this gem is open from 8am-4pm most weekdays. It is a little pricey for us but you do get quality for what you pay for and will likely be visiting again!
