Me and my son, Finn, came for tea last night (30/05) and from start to finish it was fab. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredible. We were served by a Scottish lad (sorry we didn't catch your name) but Finn thought he was great and really funny! When we got home, Finn told everyone who would listen how friendly all the staff were and how "epic" his pizza was.

Really great restaurant, been so many times. The boss and staff are all excellent and professional, and the food is high quality and cheap. This type of food would be double the price where I live and wouldn’t be as authentic. Will miss this place
2nd time coming to this place, and I can honestly not fault the place. I just don’t know anywhere in the UK where you can get a 3 course meal for £8.95! An absolute bargain! The best potato skins I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend this place. Top notch

My daughter and I visited yesterday and were very impressed with the food and the service. My daughter is coeliac and was given a wide choice of gluten free options. She chose pepperoni pizza and chips while I had fish and chips, both were delicious. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in the area
The food at Novello's is great. We had a great experience, steak, seabass, mussels, and chicken, all cooked to perfection, will definitely return
Sat outside and we ordered 1 lunch special (I had the tomato soup and spaghetti bolognaise) and 1 fish & chips.
The soup was rich and flavourful, but a little too acidic. The spaghetti bolognaise was great, and the portion was massive - well worth the price. The fish and chips was quite good for an italian restaurant.
The only complaint is that the servers, while friendly and helpful, didn't check on the customers outside enough, but it seemed like a very busy shift, so I don't blame them.
Overall, I was quite pleased and would come again.

I highly recommend this place. The people were very friendly. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The pizza tasted great and looked amazing. You could tell that it was fresh ingredients. Make sure to save room for desserts; you'll want them too. Great food, great environment - Don't miss it.
I like this place more as a proper restaurant rather than the lunch time place (Mon-Fri) it is trying to be. Please remember, most people at work have a lunch hour; sending out food, after 40-50 mins doesn't work for them! On the flip the quality of the food is spot on and the staff work hard.
