Sorry, it's a bit of a story, but.... I came here for food a few months ago and was served the wrong steak, badly cooked, and took ages. My most recent visit could not be further from this. I don't know if there is a newish menu or new chef, but the food was fabulous! The order was slightly wrong as I ordered fries and was served chips. However, the chips were awesome. Decent local pub feel, has pool table, darts and outdoor for all 4 days a year of decent weather.
Not a bad pub, meals are pretty good. Carers used to get free coffee/tea, but not anymore. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Attended a family function in the conservatory.A very warm atmosphere,pleasant surroundings and a good selection of drinks available. Would recommend.
