I've just been here for my tea with my three kids, I must say we really enjoyed the food! The kids meal deal we got was FANTASTIC!! They were allowed to choose their own meals made up of various different items and then got a massive ice cream sundae as a dessert (my oldest sons face lit up when he seen it), all for £1.99! I understand that this offer is only during the current school holidays but still it is absolutely fantastic for the price. I think I seen on the menu that the usual price for this is still only £3.49 for the same deal during term time. The 4 of us all got food and drinks for under £20!! What a bargain!! If you keep these kinds of offers going on and possibly even have the offers running on a weekend then I can see the new management taking this place to a whole new level as the word will spread across the town, another plus point is that there is screens with football on :) we will definitely be back very soon!!
This place had been run to the ground over the last few years with poor management and bad food...
It's now got it's 'family friendly' feel back, thanks to the excellent management and staff.
Great relaxing atmosphere, fantastic food - especially the delicious parmos, I'm so happy to use it as my local again! �

4 of us just went to the yellow rose for food, food was absolutely mint!! Parmo was gorgeous along with the proper chips it was served with, pizza was gorgeous and also the burger was lovely, service was great we had our food served in no time considering it was busy, superb work from everyone at the yellow rose!! Will be there again soon!!
Had my Birthday Party in The Conservatory on Saturday, what an absolute amazing night � All the staff are so friendly and I must say Nicola was so good and helpful which contributed to making my 50th Birthday Bash one to remember. This pub is so warm and welcoming � A massive thankyou to Nicola xxx

Went to yellow rose yesterday 26th Oct with niece Charlene Brady Ingham her 2 girls and my mam we loved it children's meals were great, meals for adults also 2 meals for 10 pound I had half parmo was delicious will be going back, and the lady was lovely coudnt do enough for us top class
Sorry, it's a bit of a story, but.... I came here for food a few months ago and was served the wrong steak, badly cooked, and took ages.
My most recent visit could not be further from this.
I don't know if there is a newish menu or new chef, but the food was fabulous! The order was slightly wrong as I ordered fries and was served chips. However, the chips were awesome. Decent local pub feel, has pool table, darts and outdoor for all 4 days a year of decent weather.
Not a bad pub, meals are pretty good. Carers used to get free coffee/tea, but not anymore. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Attended a family function in the conservatory.A very warm atmosphere,pleasant surroundings and a good selection of drinks available. Would recommend.

Haven't been in since covid. It has all been done out great pint reasonably priced and still as friendly as ever.
Never knew this place existed. A staff member at The Cleveland told us. My wife and I absolutely love the place, the service and the staff were great as well as the food we ordered. We will be using this venue permanent from now on and surely letting our friends and relatives know. A big thank you.
Had Sunday lunch! Tasted all fresh like a home cooked dinner. Meat was really tasty and tender. Got everything you would expect and more. Huge troff of fresh veg and hug of gravy. Really impressed and will defy be going again. Amazing value!!
I ordered a take away sunday lunch first time we have tried it from the yellow rose, my husband thought the veg was to the bite (but he is just been fussy lol) I thought it was nice apart from the broccoli yes that was a bit crunchy, but over all we enjoyed it just a nice portion yes we would get it from their again
Organised a party for my dad's 10 year business anniversary and the manager helped with all the setting up. She also checked on us throughout the evening to check we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend the conservatory for private functions.
Attended a surprise 30th in the conservatory decent size, the bar was absolutely packed loads if ppl but overall a good night!

A decent pub offering a good range of drinks and food with helpful staff. Caters to the younger crowd but none the worse for that.
