It certainly is the place to catch up with friends & have lunch & a drink. Food really good, staff are so polite & helpful. Been a while since we were last in, really busy had a lovely meal. Staff, polite & helpful as last visit. 👏 Forgot to take photos of main courses but here is dessert. Hot goey chocolate brownie with ice cream & choc sauce
Nothing much has changed in the last 20 years here, (50 years for my mam ha!) totally fine every now and then. Latest visit was a function and it was freezing, they don't serve coffee downstairs and the music was blasting for 1pm in the afternoon. But all adds to the nostalgic charm of the place 😅 lots of boro decor ;)
Decent pub food at a reasonable price, Sharing chicken platter bigger than expected and the child's steak was cooked to perfection(Medium). Stopped in for family of 4 lunch, on the way to Scarborough on Good Friday and will look to stop in next time we pass.
