Wow. I could probably use hundreds of adjectives to describe my experience at The Wonky Carrot but words escape me!! Everything about the experience was phenomenal. Unfortunately I didnt get the name of the young man who was serving but he needs a lot of the credit for the experience we had today. He was welcoming and chatty and made sure every customer was happy. The food was absolutely amazing! I opted for the high breakfast because I like to have a try of different things especially in somewhere I haven't been before! As someone with coeliac I never thought I would ever have a proper baguette again but they have managed to pull it out of the bag and it was to die for!! The Greek yoghurt with fruit was a lovely refreshing addition to have which I had after my sandwich. Finally, the pancakes. They are absolutely unbelievable. There was a choice of vanilla or chocolate chip and the young man serving knew he had asked me a daft question because obviously I was going to opt for the chocolate chip!! I had the strawberries and cream which was just such a nice refreshing topping and the additional whipped cream just topped it off wonderfully. It was lovely of the young lady working in the kitchen to check on how our food was in passing as well, that was a lovely addition to the experience. Even if you aren't gluten free, you need to try this place!! I will definitely be going again and telling all my friends and family!!! Thank you so much!!

Amazing place for gluten free food! Got the high breakfast for 2 and the pancakes were delicious! The breakfast sandwiches all contained meat but they were very accommodating and changed one to egg when we mentioned I was vegetarian.

We had Sunday dinner here before Christmas in 2019 and it was really excellent. Very tasty and clearly made with care and attention. There's a brilliant selection of gluten free food (including Sunday dinner), and plenty of sweet treats to choose from. I have since been back to buy a variety of gluten free cakes for a birthday, and they were all lovely. Portions are generous too. We will definitely go back when we are close by. Staff are delightful and nothing was too much trouble, considering we had a party with intolerances and allergies.

This gaff is Amazing! Next level food and service from Heather and her team... Had a exquisite black pudding, potato & cheese rosti wrapped in panko breadcrumb, oh my God, the noises from me at the table were strange, but I didn't care as it's one of the best dishes I've eaten anywhere for quite some time! Top Marks! 5/5 can't wait to go back! Dan

What a little Gem. The Wonky Carrot. If your gluten free foodies or just plain and simple a full English kind of person. Then this is the place for you. I'm not gluten intolerant but I'll tell you one thing for nothing, give it a go, I defy you to be able to tell the difference. The cup cakes are absolutely the best I've had. I tried a vegan cupcake too, it was amazing. Friday and Saturday evening, cocktails, beers, wines, prosecco get down and give it a try out. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

A lovely little business. Very friendly staff, great environment and gorgeous food. Working locally I usually pop in for my lunch and the service is fantastic. Need to come in for cocktails next!
