Held a family function at the weekend. Staff could not of been more helpful and welcoming. Using in house catering made it much easier and food was lovely and fresh. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for a room to hold a small party/gathering. Room was decorated with table clothes and chair coverings.

Went for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. Food was excellent. Excellent customer service spoke to Maria and Sue. Didn't get the name of young lad behind bar but couldn't of been more attentive. Will be back.

We had heard good things about the poverina so decided to give it a try, we where not disappointed, nice quiet pub,no banging music or rowdy drunks, just people enjoying some food and drinks. The staff where very friendly and happy, the food was excellent and great prices which is hard to find nowadays. we took my mam with us, who is a massive food critic lol, she got fish n chips, loved it but couldn't finish as too big for her. We got burgers, really tasty and service was fast too. The deserts just finished us off perfectly. All in all a great pub, good food and really nice staff. We will be going again. A+++

I got the small fish chips & peas, my husband got the chicken baguette. The fish was lovely, the batter melted in your mouth, my husband said the baguette was really nice. Both meals were very tasty. Would definitely return.

Had a 18th birthday party the room was beautiful, the buffet was excellent, and the disco was brilliant all provided by the Poverina at a very reasonable rate.
The staff were friendly and professional and very helpful.
Hopefully I will be able to book for a 21st soon

Only popped in for a pint which was fine. A comfortable place to have a drink. Can't comment on the food but music on a Friday night is supposed to be worth a listen to. Will call again.

Had a really great value Sunday dinner, everything nicely fresh and hot. Did not have to wait long at all. Nice atmosphere not rowdy the drinking chocolate was very tasty. We had a baby with us and one of the members of staff kept the child entertained whilst she was working. All the staff were really friendly and are a great asset to the establishment. I will certainly return and I would strongly recommend other people try this place out.

A nice popular pub.
There is a room available for private hire.
Drinks are nice and i have heard good stuff about the food.
There are a few seats out front which are always popular on summers days.
There is a large car park at the back.
I recently I had a mid afternoon meeting here and it was very quiet with only a few other people in we were served quickly.
