I had lunch here last Monday, my friend lives locally and it was convenient. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, just basic café food. We both had the fish and chips. One small and one large. Hands down it was the best fish I've eaten in twenty years. Succulent and tasty with no evidence of grease at all. The takeaway at Saltburn pier could learn a thing or two from this place. I don't often have fish and chips as I am usually disappointed. Not this time. And the price....£7.99. Plus I couldn't finish all the portion....I didn't leave any fish though.

Always pop in here as food is decent and customer service is brill. It can get a little cold in here but apart form that the food and service is great.
