This was my first visit to this fabulous family run Café. They serve great coffee. Located in the Viewley Centre Hemlington. I had a brilliant lunch of a jacket potato with Tuna and a side salad. I will definitely become a regular customer once I have moved to Hemlington in the next couple of weeks. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A bonus for this non cash carrying guy was they take card payments. If you are in the area then this is definitely worth a visit. You will not be disappointed. My only disappointment was being a diet I couldn't have one or two of their home cakes and slices.

We absolutely love The Silver Spoon! We have been so many times and enjoyed everything from breakfast, to special lunches, delicious cakes and wonderful afternoon teas. Sue and the team are always friendly and welcoming and host some brilliant events. We really missed Afternoon tea this year with Santa (due to restrictions) and can’t wait until things are back to normal so we can get back to our favourite cafe. For now the fabulous takeaways will keep us going!

We order from here each week as a treat at work. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. They deliver to us which given we work in a school and have a short lunch break this is extremely helpful. Doesmt matter what we order it is lovely! Highly recommend especially the chicken kebab and jacket potatoes.
