This place is amazing! I would rather go here than Nados or other big branded places. The food was amazing I got a medium chicken wrap and it was delicious and not to spicy. The place is so clean and the decor is different but nice. The prices where good as the portion size is quite big. The waitress we had ‘Hazel’ was so kind to us from start to end. Me and my girlfriend couldn’t asked for better service. I will definitely be going back to this place!

We had a lovely meal at De Braai in Middlesbrough. First time visit here and it won't be the last. We ordered T bone steaks and double cheese burger both cooked to perfection -tender and juicy -just the way we like them. Very reasonable price. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Went for birthday meal as a family of ten. Absolutely amazing, food, service and atmosphere was wonderful. Definitely recommend and will definitely be returning again. We ordered a variety of food, t-bone steak, tomahawk steak, parmos, lamb chops and burgers. Fantastic! Staff were amazing 👏 Thank you

Very clean restaurant, halal food, customer service was absolutely 💯, we told them we were fasting, our starters were ready just in time and we even got garlic bread on the house. Steak, Mojito everything was fab ! 👌 lovely African vibe. Will be going again definitely.

Service was a little slow however it was well worth the wait plus the staff were great 👍 👌 I almost never order a steak anywhere in the UK but I decided to give their Tbone steak a go and boy was I pleased. It was delicious and juicy and had a taste of South Africa/ Africa. I am definitely coming back to sample the rest of the menu. Kudos to the chef and the staff. And the De Braai sauce was a lovely touch also. This is an underrated hidden gem of Middlesbrough and everyone needs to hear about it!

The dining area design looks nice for a small restaurant. The staff was welcoming and smiling. I have ordered a T-bone steak. The added flavor was tasty, but I wished if it was a bit juicy as it was dry, mostly New York Strip part.
Definitely I will come again when the full menu is available.
