I didn't eat on this visit and only stayed for a short time. Welcoming pub with interesting historic artefacts and good size car park
Super friendly staff, they allowed us use of their car park for a music video scene and were so accommodating, will be back for food and drinks with the team!
I came for the 4 EV fast charging stations in the carpark. I found it a good pub with excellent guest ales serving a small range of tasty bar snacks. I recommend the messy chips.
Unfortunately they had another party in when we arrived,we had. Previously rang to see if they could cater for 40+members of our family,they said they could, but the only available space was the beer garden ,not really appropriate as it was raining . However we have been before and service food and atmosphere has always been excellent and we will return again
A good large traditional pub with a decent pool table and a projector for sports events with a lot of space. Prices are good and the parking is decent. Usually fairly busy but was quiet on the last visit. Only recommendation... turn the heating off! Its summer.
The atmosphere is excellent the staff can’t do enough for you they are friendly professional faith cook one of the bar staff made are night she was helpful professional and friendly cannot wait to go back , a BIG thank you to Jamie and all the staff
Great value and prices, always pleasant staff,we have a monthly meeting there and you can have a quiet corner ,or outside if weather allows. Alot of work has been carried out making it suitable for outside drinking etc,probably easily overlooked not being directly on the main road. Ample monitored car park, well worth a visit.
