Very impressed!! Warm welcome, spectacular food. We’d only nipped in for a quick tea before returning to hospital so was very pleasantly surprised at just how good the food was. Our new favourite place to eat in Middlewich. Hopefully we’ll have time to sample dessert too next visit. �
Visited this evening for tea, plenty of choice to choose from! I went for the tex mex chicken burger & it was lovely, great value for money and definitely worth the money! Service was great & very welcoming. Desert was chocolate brownie and very tasty. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon �

Had Sunday lunch. Absolutely gorgeous. 2 courses for 11pound. Everything cooked fresh & home made.
This is a great canalside pub. Friendly staff, great beer, food and accommodation if you need to stop off before starting on a canal journey with the nearby Andersens boatyard. Food served until 6pm. Website suggests breakfast available, but sadly not when we visited. Dog friendly, offered treats when we entered.
Clean and well maintained, interesting pictures and history.
