Really welcoming cosy pub in the heart of Midhurst. We were a table of 9 who were fed at 8.45pm on a Tuesday, when many other pubs would have stopped serving food. Good selection local ales and the food was incredibly tasty. The staff were very helpful and cheerful.

No food currently as missing the chef, but service and ambience were top notch. Nice selection of drinks available as well.

Seems like a popular local, friendly atmosphere and very attentive staff. The restaurant closes at 3pm on a Saturday, food we had was OK. I probably wouldn't eat there again but I'd certainly have another drink there. Many thanks

Only popped in for a drink so can't comment on food. Beer was good, staff were friendly and efficient, the bar area was sort of cosy and the prices were really good👍

The pub oozes character, oak beams, stone floors, log fire and a chapel which is used as a function room. Pub grub and a good range of beers. There is a separate dining area or you can eat in the bar area if you wish.

Had an hour to spare so popped in for a quick drink. We had the warmest welcome I have ever received , the landlord and his daughter really made us feel welcome. The beer was great and the pub is set in a really interesting historical building. Looking forward to coming back and eating here. If you are in town pop in you won’t be disappointed
