The summer weather may be miserable but the welcome at the Lazy Lion was warm and friendly, and the Sunday roast was excellent. Both beef and pork were delicious, lovely gravy, fluffy Yorkshire puddings. The desserts looked tempting too, but we were too full to manage one!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Lazy Lion. The host was hilarious, the serving team friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious. I had superb Moules Marinères, the sauce was the right balance of creamy & garlicky, with a good flavoured stock. My friends loved their pies,and said the gravy was particularly good. The beer was apparently not so good, and the white wine was as all pub wine seems to be, just not up to the standard of the food. However, we would definitely visit again, and I highly recommend it.

Extremely welcoming host, linen table knapkins in a pub restaurant, superb! Tidy place, smart menu with a decent choice of foods. Excellent burgers.
