Came here last week and couldn't be happier! Had the goat roti which tasted just like my auntie used to make it... Definitely worth a visit if your looking for that Trini taste, we are definitely coming back🤙😊!

The food from here is just what my mouth and taste buds crave. Usually I get the Okra Veggie Meal and a soup to act as gravy lol. The vegetables are fresh and tasty. Thank you for existing, because eating from Dexter’s makes a long day at work bearable. 😃💗

This is the first time I've had doubles. The pretty girl at the cashier is super friendly. The next time I'm craving some I'll surely head back. A power-lifting bodybuilder actually recommended me this spot.

Awesome carribean food. Egg ball and pulorie is to die for. Mostly order finger food and soups . Amazing food. Still have to try the curry.

While on our way home my wife and I came across Dexter's Kitchen. We stopped inside to order a bite for the ride home, a Bake and Saltfish Buljol (a bit if red pepper added) with a side order of okra. The first bite of the Bake was hot euphoria that rushed through me so fast I felt my clothes falling off with delight (shokugeki no soma/food wars reference). My wife asked if it delicious. I let her have a bite and as she did have the same delicious reaction that I did.
We turned around and went back to order dinner, which is seen in the picture below. 2 bake and Saltfish Buljol, order of okra, and an oxtail soup. We are looking forward to the many more visits and meals that will come. Anyone passing by I recommend anything that you have read within these words. The spice is nice and the meal will leave you happily satisfied. Worth. Every. Bite.

This place was amazing! Such a cute and welcoming environment - the staff was super friendly, timely, and helpful. I went there with two of my friends and we were all impressed and satisfied with our meals. Everything was delicious and we all left FULL. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the nyc area. 10/10.

Tried the ox tail and jerk chicken. Both were huge portions for what you get and both were great and full of flavor. Be warned, the jerked chicken is addicting! Its got this tang to it with a little kick that comes later that makes you want more! Parking here was easy, they have a lot of spots right in front of the shop and even if its full, there's street parking available. Definitely recommend!!

Loved the ox tail and jerk chicken. Rice was on point and I usually judge spots on how good their rice is. Convenient parking right in front can’t go wrong here.
