I had chicken burger and chips. It wasn't very nice food, tasted like a very poor frozen reformed chicken patty. Chips were OK and side salad was nice. Some of my friends had other dishes, apparently the burger pattys weren't very nice either but the chicken with chilli dip was lovely. Not cheap food but where is these days. Service was good so no complaints there and the atmosphere was on the quiet side when we came in. We livened the place up playing our ukuleles though

Went for lunch today. Very accommodating. We had a wheelchair and 2 large dogs. They recommended we ate at the restaurant at the back of the pub. Couldn't do enough for us. Excellent service. Food gorgeous. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Absolutely best bar and food on the isle of Cumbrea. Staff very friendly, helpful, Food fab, Curry Night, Steak night. Entertainment great. My favourite bar. ❤️

Visited here with my classmates and professors while we were on a field trip. Looks very small from the outside but is actually huge on the inside, loved the ambience! Had a lot of fun playing the pub quiz and they'd also arranged a karaoke night for us!

I had the haddock and my hubby had the scampie it was delishious.
It is a local cosy friendly pub and I would highly recommend.

Came here twice in the week we stayed here, our dog Suzi loves the bartender with him giving her treats, would recommend to anybody wanting a drink or food. We will be visiting again and staying on the island the halloumi are amazing.
