Stayed at Garrison House for 3night,central for everything, surroundings are very well kept and lovely

Garrison house has a wonderful array of historical content about cumbrae and the surrounding waters.
If you have an interest in the nautical history of the area, it's a must visit.
Also on the ground is the model railway, in the wooden huts.
Pop in and see it.
The fella who looks after it is very knowledgeable.
Was a very enjoyable chat.

Nice little museum with the history of the island cafe looks good we did not try it on bad thing is the signage not to clear its open from the road but defo take a look

Great place to stop by and visit. Beautify garden outside and museum inside. Has a lovely big cafe inside that’s great for a big breakfast or tea and cakes. Highly recommend a visit
