I ordered chips and donner meat. What a mistake. Said 5 mins more like 15. fine but to be given dry over cooked left over food what appears to be from the oven. Dry, burnt over heated. Only good side the chips was hot
The most disgusting chips.. the oil tasted old( disappointed they were not proper West Yorkshire dripping. The batter was thick and sloppy. I ate a bit of the fish and half a dozen chips.. then threw the rest on bird table.. and even they have left them.
Great local chippy with good menu options. They use vegetable oil, so veggie or vegan members of the family can eat there without issues. Veggie options on the menu too. Friendly service. Highly recommended.
Absolutely inedible. Ordered jumbo sausage chips and large gravy £6.40. Chips inedible had taste like they had been fried in very old oil. Jumbo sausage wasn’t a jumbo sausage but 2 smaller sausages. Gravy was so thick as to be solid and didn’t taste particularly nice. Worst I’ve ever had, went into bin after 2 mouthfuls, avoid.
