We came across this place after looking at the abbey and glad we did.
It is set in the middle in a very picturesque village and when entering there is plenty of seating in this cosy tea room, the owners are very welcoming and offer a good range of food, the cakes all look very nice.
The food we ordered was very nice and came out quickly, the place was nice and relaxed and was inviting and wouldn't have a problem in coming again
Excellent lunch & homemade cake. Lovely friendly staff. Cute and cosy. Really good strong tea. Homemade carrot cake and shortbread amazing. A must visit place in Milton Abbas. 10/10 quick service xxx

What can I say.... perfection!!!
We had tea cakes and toasties and they were delicious, I then took some cakes home with me chocolate and orange brownie, Victoria sandwich and carrot & walnut cake... these taste so amazing, to top the visit off we also bought some homemade fudge.. wow it just melted in the mouth... well done Ali & Cath on re-opening the much missed tearooms... I hope your journey is super successful as your food is amazing, you are only an hour and half away from where I live so I’ll definitely be back... can’t wait for our next visit 😍😍
Brilliant tea rooms, service and food were excellent. We had toasted sandwich, bacon sandwich, toasted tea cake and cake, all were very nice. Little things like the salad dressing being separate so the customer can put as much or little as they like make all the diference.
Please try this tea rooms you will not be disappointed.
Lovely environment indoors and out, pleasant staff and incredibly tasty lemon scone with raspberry jam. Felt safe looked clean. The warm apple cake looked good to.
Sunday 27 January 2019 and It was my turn to lead a group of cyclists on one of our regular Sunday rides. We always need a warm and friendly place for a hot drink at lunchtime. Well, we found it at the Tea Clipper Tea Rooms - personable hosts, super hot chocolate and a wamr room, particularly appreciated on a freezing cold day. We were particularly impressed by our hosts' willingness (given due notice) to open up should we wish to call on days when they would normally be closed.
Lovely tea rooms. Great, friendly staff. The cakes not only look amazing but taste amazing too!! Highly recommend.
