Olive Tree Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar

A new day. A new city. So definitely a new place to eat. Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine has mostly been a front runner on our top list of cuisines. Olive Tree has a cosy setup with a warm ambience. We settle in and take a while to glance through the menu that offers an interesting take on some authentic Turkish dishes. We settle with the Lamb Guvec and Chicken Beyti and a glass of Ayran to satiate the taste buds. The Lamb Guvec has tender lamb chunks lathered with tomato, peppers sauce and melted mozzarella cheese with a nacho crisp and served on a hot clay dish. A flavourful rice and salad gives the perfect accomplishment. The Chicken Beyti (I imagined it to be wrapped up as a roll but that's Beyti Sarma on their menu) was a chicken mince kofte blended with the perfect set of spices and served with the flavourful rice and salad that just makes you go to the next bite quickly. Let me not forget to mention the buttery garlicky bread served with accompaniments once the order has been placed that just melts in your mouth. Would definitely get back here when I visit Milton Keynes again

Been recently for a work dinner with 8 colleagues on a Tuesday night. It was surprisingly busy and packed. Service was decent but nothing great. Food was decent too, if you like grilled meat with chips / rice. Again desserts were decent too ! Overall .. a good place especially if you like meat and rice / chips type of food Verdict - 4/5 Budget- easily £40 a head with 1 beer can go more expensive depending on how much booze you have I guess When we were about to leave .. they somehow poured the leftover oil somehow in a tank / drain where there was maybe some meat was left. The whole restaurant started to stink and left a sour taste / smell.

Oh my, it was truly exceptional! The menu offered a wide range of authentic Turkish dishes, each prepared with utmost care and expertise. The flavors were exquisite, with a perfect balance of spices and fresh ingredients. Every bite was a delightful journey for my taste buds. Overall, my experience at this Turkish restaurant was nothing short of perfect. From the impeccable service to the outstanding food, everything exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and delightful Turkish dining experience.

I had an amazing birthday celebration at this restaurant last night! It was my first time here, and despite the quiet exterior, the inside was bustling with people. The service was fast, the food was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable. Don't miss out on this gem—I'll definitely be coming back again!

It's that old chestnut - when you book a table for 7:30, is that the time you arrive or the time you sit or the time you order? On arrival at 7:10 we were parked up in a foyer area 'you've got a bit of time yet' it would have been nice to have been offered a drink;a missed sales opportunity for them. In their defense, a couple of the team did acknowledge our presence, they were VERY busy and we were actually seated a few minutes early - just not the best initial welcome. We were very fortunate to have Eram look after us. She is so attentive and picked up on the slightest hint that we needed attention. What an asset to the team, and as things quietened down we had the pleasure of a short chat with her - charming lady. The excellent food arrived so quickly - we'll done to both sides of the pass! The drinks;sadly a different matter I was well through my meal before our Raki arrived and that was only after several times of asking And how very nice to get the bill and find that a service charge had not been auto-added leaving it to our discretion to thank for service above and beyond. I took my mom for a day out.. The best part of day was dinner at Olive tree restaurant.. We loved the environment, their hospitality and service... We had drinks 1st they were tasty and refreshing (photos attached).. We got complimentary garlic bread which was fresh and very tasty would want it every day, served with sauces which were delicious!!! Dinner and starters were also fresh and delicious... Attendants were so friendly and efficient , service was great.. Owner was also very friendly and kept checking around for services and if everything is fine.. Came himself to our table twice.. We were looked after very well.. Would highly recommend this place, be it family dinner/friends day out or just drinks.. Turkish tea after the dinner is a must have.. There is ample parking just beside the restaurant although its paid parking but cheap rates.. Location is great and easily accessible...
