Fantastic and brilliant all round. Obviously picked a great time to go (4pm). Ambience of the place, service, staff and food were exceptional. We ordered from the A La Carte Menu and there was just enough time between courses.
We had the potted Cromer crab and avocado for starters, I had the goats cheese ravioli and my partner the beouf bourguignon. Absolutely fantastic ... We chose a Cinsault rose between us, but would of loved a cold Dolcino Rose from Malta's Emmanuel Delicata winery, unfortunately they don't seem to sell Maltese wine in the UK !!

I really like this little spot, nice decor, good size, open kitchen. Toilets are situated upstairs but I think there is a lift for them also. Reasonably priced menu, I had the steak, which I asked for medium rare but it came medium, I decided to eat it anyway as it did look good and tastes good too. My mother had the burger and she very much enjoyed it. Great service. We ate at 1230 on a Saturday afternoon and it was very quiet inside. Completely forgot to take photos of the food 🥴
Amazing. Absolutely incredible food. Reasonable pricing for the quality. Seating was very comfortable. Only thing is don't go here after leg day as 3 lots of stairs to go to main toilets. There is accessible toilet on the ground floor. Can't compliment the chefs and service staff enough!
Simply wonderful. Clean and beautiful. The staff were absolutely fantastic and the food was beautiful and tasty. Cannot recommend enough. Will 100% be back.
Superb food, no feeling of rush to get us out, great choice of food and drinks. Looking forward to a return visit.

We still enjoyed our visit, and the food was very nice as always.
The wait and kitchen staff were slammed, though. A very busy Friday evening, and it was clear they were struggling to keep up with a full house. There were long waits between courses, and after our initial drinks on arrival, it was very hard to get anyone's attention to order more, so we went without and declined dessert.
Many tables surrounding us were in the same situation with long waits and lack of check-ins.
Feel this was an under scheduling/staffing issue as I want to make it clear the staff themselves were amazing, polite, friendly, and trying very hard to spread themselves between large sections.
Previous visit: Always go here when we have a special occasion to celebrate. Tonight was for my husbands 30th. As always, they don't disappoint. Relaxed atmosphere, great services, polite and friendly staff, all topped by delicious food.
Always a fabulous meal, the house white is amazing value for the taste, pate is a very big portion and absolutely a must have, cheese soufflé was great. the duck confit is a big portion and absolutely delicious! Only slight let down was the burger, nice, but not amazing. Service was brill too!
Visited several times and always had good food at a reasonable price. The rump steak was tender and tasty. Asked for medium rare and that’s what we got. The pork belly was just right and the duck leg was full of flavour and the veg was cooked just right. Nice meal. Good service. Recommended.
The food is incredibly delicious. We ordered the Scallops, Malbar Fish Curry, Chalkstream trout with brown shrimps, and the truffled celeriac mash.
The mains were incredible.
For dessert we ordered the pistachio soufflé (not in the photo) which was disappointing.
The server was a bit rude but not rude enough for me to knock down the rating.
As long as you stay away from the pistachio soufflé I’d definitely recommend visiting!
Very reasonable price staff are excellent we had an amazing dinner experience.
Fantastic restaurant. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with a meal. Service is great, menu offers a wide variety of choice, and the atmosphere is lovely.
