Stayed at the hotel, 1st night had to wait over 1 hour for our food, the waiter was fantastic about the problem this was due to the cook walking out on a very busy night.
When we did get our food, it was lovely, and each night after that, we had good food. The steaks were great 👍
I regret discovering this place late. I stayed in the hotel last year and that time I had a chance to walk around the lake after having breakfast at this place. The environment is relaxing and its a perfect getaway if you live in London or even MK. In my last visit I tried a main course and a cocktail and had a nice walk around the lake just before returning to London. Pity that it was rainy so cant wait to be there next time to grab a pint and sit outside by the lake!
Went with friends and their 18 month old baby. Lovely space in an old mill and very clean. Service was excellent, very family friendly and Tabitha was great. Decent pub food served quickly, vegetarian and vegan options available. Lots of car parking, it also has a children's playground and it's next to a picturesque lake for walks and feeding the ducks. We had a lovely time!

Cosy, airy old pub with a gorgeous lake side view. Staff are friendly, very helpful and professional! (One called Tabatha in particular was brilliant!- apparently did over 22,000 steps by the time she had finished with our group) Food was pretty delicious too.
Family went for a meal for my birthday . When we got there we realised we had book for following week and would have to seat by the bar. But then a waiter named Lloyd told us we could move to table service as it was my birthday and my partner was on crutches. The food was lovely but I have to recommend Lloyd our server. He was so friendly and polite and think he should be nominated a special award for his service. I even got a plate of chocolate brownies with choc sauce saying Happy birthday Queen...Best service at any restaurant I've ever had. Thankyou Lloyd
Been here a few times now, but first time as the pub and grill, but still a great place to come to, very idyllic setting, so after eating you can walk around the lake, really is a nice place to come, and caters for all ages, definitely a 10 out 10 for me.
Absolutely amazing, food, staff, atmosphere. Would highly recommend if ur passing. Or just looking for somewhere different to go for a meal or just a drink. Our server Jack was an awesome guy.
A great, friendly pub. Having visited a few times, the service has always been second to none.
A couple of time is have visited with my toddler and the service is always super fast with no long waits, they definitely know how to work with children!
I have also visited twice with a group of friends in the evening, both times served by Lloyd. He is an absolute asset to the restaurant - super friendly, had jokes with us, helped with selecting wine, blacked out the calories on the desert menu after i joked they made me feel bad, and gave us space when we were having a more sensitive conversation. All in all we had a wonderful evening, helped hugely by his service. Thank you Lloyd!!
The pub itself is modern and has a nice ambience, and the food, although not fine dining, is always up to standard for pub grub and portions are generous.
Visited yesterday, I had a lovely meal with my wife hunters chicken and chicken fajitas
