Beautiful restaurant, lovely ambiance, and great location. Attentive staff, that is, when not distracted. They were polite and warm, but they all tend to focus on one task/table sometimes, forgetting the other diners that are waiting for their food. I really enjoyed the prawn starter that was served quite early. However, we had to wait about 30 mins for the main. The presentation of my rice main wasn't great, and I didn't enjoy it at all. I don't know, really. It is a good restaurant, and I'll probably dine there again. However, not anytime soon. I would still recommend.

An exquisite culinary journey through rich flavors and authentic dishes. With its charming ambiance and attentive service, it's a delightful destination for experiencing the vibrant tastes of India. Don't miss their aromatic curries and delectable tandoori options. A must-visit for any food enthusiast seeking an elevated Indian dining experience.

Loved loved loved this cute little Indian restaurant! Came across it by chance and it did not disappoint. For starters we got the king prawn puri and oh my god it was to die for! Full of so much flavour. For the mains I got the vegetarian thali and my partner got the Maaya special thali. The paneer makhani that came with my main was the BEST makhani I’ve ever tasted. I am a huge fan of loads of different dishes as a main (reminds me of when my grandma cooked loads of dishes when I was younger), so the thali definitely went down a hit and is great for someone who loves to have a little bit of everything. The portion was absolutely huge and so tasty! I can’t wait to come back! I was also so impressed with how polite and attentive the staff were. Honestly worth a visit!

Best traditional in food I have had. I admittedly do eat it as much as I'd like but everything was just delicious. I was a bit skeptical with the rating here but I wouldn't worry about it if I were. The service was a bit rushed but could be also be perceived as extra accommodating in my opinion. Cheers!

What a great experience I had this evening. The staff was great. The food was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was relaxed with a good vibe and the restaurant was well decorated, clean and classy. I arrived about an hour before close. The chef served the food to me directly, starting with the classic samosa. Not because they were understaffed, but it seemed more of a gesture of pride and the love of what they do. To be clear, I say chef and not cook, because the chef clearly has skills, a lot of training and is quite talented. The samosa was crisp and tender, the best by far that I have experienced. The garlic naan was so enjoyable and perfectly cooked, warm and soft. I had butter chicken, spicy, with a side of Jasmine rice. All clearly made fresh. The portions were generous. Every bite left me excited for the next. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Fantastic food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. I so nearly didn't come here due to the low score in 'Google Reviews' but thought it can't be that bad - and it wasn't, it was brilliant! The restaurant is clean, modern and stylish. The menu was varied yet had the usual favorites on there as well. Service was with a smile with drinks coming in a timely manner. Cannot fault in anyway and will definitely be returning next time I'm in Milton Keynes. Don't believe the google review score!

Overall rating 4.5. Had a very enjoyable time here on a busy Saturday night along with kids. Vibe: 5/5. Decor 5/5. Food taste: 4.5 ( I recommend trying the Malai Chicken, Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken and the Lacha Parantha). Drinks: 5/5 (an excellent Pina Colada and love the trolley of brandies and whiskies brought over and served at the table after dinner). Service: 4 (a mixed bag of excellent waiters and a waitress who was a little rude). Extra requests were all handled with ease too. We would go back when in the area.

This is a Seven chilli chicken, with mushroom pilau rice and Chicken 65. The price as others have mentioned is not cheap, though portion wise this is a decent portion for a meal and could probably have fed 2 people. The taste was delicious and it tasted fresh and home made. So I guess the moral of the story is that it will be expensive, the portions aren't bigger because its expensive, but the quality is delicious. This was a delivery so cant comment about in restaurant experience, but will absolutely order again from Mayaa. You know its expensive before you eat in so I don't see how this is a surprise to anyone really. I do wish they did a chicken jalfrezi to taste how the dish would be made
