Miller & Carter Milton Keynes Xscape

Booked for my husband's 70th birthday lunch with friends and family. The organisation to get 24 people and their menu choices sorted before the event was very good. More amazing was when we got to the restaurant the service was very good by all staff but Dave who was looking after us was brilliant. Everybody's food arrived within a few minutes of each other, the quality was very good and whatever request we made for drinks, slight changes to the set menu or for extra drinks was attended to with good grace and humour. A special dessert from the restaurant was given to my husband which was a nice touch and the staff helped to create a really good atmosphere in the area we had our tables in making a special birthday a special event. Thank you.

This was my first miller and Carter experience. I loved it. Great choice of steaks at a reasonable price. I had a sharing platter with my wife and the fillet was cooked to perfection. However we didn't read the option clearly as the second cut was rump steaks. Now I don't eat rump steaks so it spoilt the dish. I complained to our waiter as serving a fillet and a rump on the same plate is a culinary offence. Why over look the sirloin or ribeye. Our waiter agreed and discounted our meal because our experience had been disrupted. Now that is what you call service. Definitely going back, next time I'm getting the t bone.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, the food is at it's best. The butcher's platter is way too big for two ☺️ and the Miller's Mango bomb is out of this world. Unfortunately out waitress Debroah (sorry if misspelled) was not so nice. Bad attitude and bad service. She was almost rude in her service. After a noisy clearing of the plates she sprayed my wife with when cleaning the table. You can see that she was not happy at all working here. Too bad for the Restaurant's image. Overall a good dinner, if wasn't for our waitress. Thank you.

Enjoyed this restaurant. The steaks were all well-cooked as ordered and delicious. The chunky fries also taste good and the wine was well-priced for the quality. Would recommend. Also, the service was great. The staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. It was the first time for me going to a steak house and they assisted me properly.
