Great English pub serving traditional pub grub. Friendly staff.. Plenty of screens to watch the football or rugby. Friendly staff. The pub hosts a live band some weekends which are free to watch. Been a couple of times now and it's a nice little pub. There is plenty of seating at the rear of the pub which is cosier than the front bar which can be a little to bright. My only moan is that the smokers area is not vented enough and some smokers tend to stand right by the door facing inwards, the smoke wafts in which can be very unpleasent for those who don't smoke. I'm sure someone will have a moan about me for saying that but I'm just being truthful and giving a fair review.

Excellent cozy pub. The food is of excellent quality for its reasonable price. The side salad on my homemade lasagna was fresh and not of the pre-prepared bagged variety. Friendly and helpful staff who anticipated my needs and provided timely updates on the progress of my meal. It's a shame I'm only a visitor otherwise I would be here regularly.

Had the best bottomless brunch here! The owner was very generous and attentive, the food and drinks didn't stop the entire time. The food was delicious too, we had baked camembert, chicken strips, chicken wings, and deli platters. The pub and the owner were lovely, and their bottomless brunch is fantastic value for money. We'll definitely be back!
