Sunday roast is a must! Stumbled across this pub when visiting the Wilen Lake and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My friend had a weird request for “apple crumble without the apple” so only crumble and custard, and they actually served her that!!! The waiter went above and beyond to do this for her which we found very sweet.

First visit and it was OK, the service given to us by Holly was outstanding! Food ordered and arrived quickly, atmosphere lovely

Called in after a wander round Willen lake. Very dog friendly. Good disabled access. Not enough staff though. They worked incredibly hard but there were not enough for such a big area. Had a yummy brunch of pancakes and latte coffees. My oatcakes with berries and yoghurt (apologies from staff no blueberries) My husband had bacon on his pancakes. My dog stayed under the table ina quiet Booth at the back.
