As I always look for “Halal” food to eat, I found this café that offers nice substitutes if you don’t want to eat pork and non-Halal food. Tasty food and fresh ingredients. They prepare fresh juices on the spot. Recommend 👍🏻

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, the cafe is very cosy! Perfect size portions for prices. Only negative comment is the sweetners are vile 😅 ruined my tea, don't use them, use the sugar provided.

Was served by the extremely polite and lovely Pippa. She knew the menu inside and out, knew what was available and took our order quickly. Great service. The food came quickly and looked amazing. It was also delicious, fresh and filling. Great experience, will definetly go back.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Milton Keynes. Unassuming decor and aesthetics but they get the important things right.

Pleasant cafe which strives to be a little different from the two rivals around the corner, by taking a more careful and considered approach - the range of drinks on offer here is the best in the immediate area and included some specialist coffees made properly- they clearly take this part seriously. Haven’t tried the food but from what I have seen there is a good range of options and they cater for most tastes. Pleasant and spacious inside with a few outdoor seats.

What a cafe!! Super tasty well priced breakfast food. We are vegan & the selection was fantastic - smashed avocado on toast with sunblushed tomatoes was delicious as were the freshly made smoothies. Number of cool comfy seating options with electric car charge points immediately outside. Staff welcoming & friendly.

I so, so, so, so hope this place succeeds. This was my first visit and the pluses far outweigh the could-do-betters!!!! The location is pretty fab....and just what Central MK needs to challenge its never-ending list of chain restaurants/cafes/pubs/shops. On our visit, the place was initially very busy and I reckon this maybe overwhelmed the staff for a time. There was a long wait for food and drinks to arrive....and a long gap between drinks being brought out and the food being delivered. By the time the breakfast was served, the tea was cold....and it wasn't especially straightforward to get a refill. But, am sure that was simply down to an unanticipated rush of customers. That all said, the food was absolutely top notch in terms of big choice, quality products and lovely presentation. The servers were super friendly ...though I reckon one may have been very new and not really totally au fait with the menu and what certain items were (looking at cakes for chai latte!!)...but again that's a minor grumble compared to the excellence otherwise encountered! Another plus was the diverse clientele....not only gym bunnies from Bannatyne's across the way, but families and couples who'd obviously heard of it by reputation and made the trip to visit. And in my hour or so there I heard Spanish, Italian, Urdu and Greek conversations ....as well as Australian and South African accents.....a real melting pot. The Green Elephant is now added to my list of go-to brekkie venues and I am already looking forward to my next visit.
