Our first visit and we came for lunch. Amazing food and extremely friendly staff made our visit really enjoyable. Definitely a place we will be visiting on a more regular basis. They are a very dog friendly establishment too, even have free treats for the dogs. Fantastic visit.

I've been coming to the Weighbridge since the day Mary took over and in the last year and a bit I've had absolutely no complaints at all. Every meal I've had has been well presented, well cooked and delicious. Both the kitchen and service staff have been equally skilled at what they do, and you'll always receive a warm welcome, whether you want a quick pint or a full blown evening. You certainly won't regret going for a good night of good food and good atmosphere.

I am not kidding…this pub has the best pies I have ever eaten. The killer deal is the 2-in-1 pies which is a bowl with pie filling in one half, topped with a sublimely good crust, and cauliflower cheese in the other half. If they’re not serving this in heaven, I’ll be stunned. And not only are they DELICIOUS, but they’re also HUGE (for the piggies out there). I can’t say enough positive things about these pies - THEY ARE FABULOUS!!!

This is a very popular pub, you can take the risk of just turning up, but a lot of people book. Given its location people go there specifically for the food. We were lucky and got a seat in the bar. Despite standing at the bar, it still took a while before our drinks and finally food orders were taken. The pies are the reason everyone goes there, two filling in one. But you can if you wish not have the veg part and just the main filling. The shortcrust pastery topping just melts away. The pies are well filled and good portion size. Reasonable value for money, usual drinks selection available from the bar, bit limited on real ales. Did we enjoy it yes, would we go back yes

Booking is highly recommended in advance to avoid disappointment. Can't wait to go back to this little gem. On the edge of Nailsworth, it's on several walking routes and an ideal stopping place. The 1/2 & 1/2 pies are a must. Fantastic. See you again soon Mick & Mia

These pies are insanely good. I'm just truly gutted we don't live locally. We did try to purchase some to bring back home, but alas they had reached their capacity for the week. Could've cried.

Excellent pub, we visited here for some of their classic pies. I had a steak and kidney 2 in 1 pie with cauliflower cheese, it was amazing, the pastry was delicious. A proper home made pie! I had a small pie, side of chips, starter (wholetail scampi) and pudding (2 in 1 cherry pie and apple crumble) and was very full afterwards. I would also recommend the old spot ale. I will be visiting here again, thank you.

We went to try the famous 2in1 pies and were not disappointed, the more was plenty of filling in the pie, a beautiful buttery crumbly pastry, strong Stilton and a mature cheddar cheesy cauliflower. We also tried the 2in1 pudding, I think the pastry should have been a bit sweeter for this desert but it was still delicious, I particularly liked the cherry and the apples had a good cinnamon flavour. Service was fantastic, staff were polite and attentive. We asked for some time between main and pudding to settle which they were more than happy to do. Plenty of parking outside and a nice old country pub vibe. We will definitely be retuning.

Found this place by accident and we were all so happy we did. To our benefit we had tried and failed to get into two other local restaurants so turned to google to find somewhere. The Weighbridge Inn was 2 miles from our location so we popped in on spec. Greeted politely by a very nice young lady and managed to find us a quiet spot. The manager was also very welcoming. The two in one pie was labelled the best pie My 82 year old father in law has ever had. High praise indeed from a man who really loves his pie. The cheesy garlic bread was to die for. The soup thick and very tasty and the ham gorgeous and thick and tasty with the eggs and chips. The lot was polished off. Would gladly have traveled 20 miles to eat here. Would recommend to anyone.

Finished a forraging adventure near by, and noticed this pub along the road, unfortunatly food was finished, but had a lovely smooth pint of Thatchers, ( which tells me, There pipes are very clean) nice outside area, and ample parking, when in the area will try their wonderful pies😊

The pies that they spesialise in are wonderful, with fluffy light melt in your mouth pastry, very special. We all had the small size, as the large are enormous. The sticky toffee pudding was more average, but still very good. I wish I'd tried the desert pie instead though, another time.

A pretty pub in a beautiful location, very cosy atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and professional. Quite a limited menu but they are famous for their 2 in 1 pies and I believe most people go there for that. The food was almost perfect but a bit salty. I feel that sides should be included with the pie as opposed to charged separately, I don’t know many people who would only eat a pie and not have some sort of potato and veg on the side but you’re expected to order that separately and while the portions are very generous, I feel that £14 for the mini pie and an additional £3-4 for chips is quite expensive. A good touch that they offer gluten free pastry with their pies
