Lilly (Assistant Manager) and all the superb team. During our stay. Were attentive, with client satisfaction as their foremost goal. They unrelentingly achieved this. Nothing was too much trouble. Our double room was adequate. However, the food and drinks, were an exceptional experience and highly recommended, for both evening dining and breakfast.

We had an amazing stay! Food was perfect, breakfast had plenty of choice, and service was great. Our room was downstairs and great! It was clean and comfortable with a lovely rainfall shower. The beer garden was incredible, well maintained and a sun trap if the weather is nice.

We went here for lunch, not to sleep. The service was excellent and the food was great. The presence of a fire place was quite welcome. The Indian food could have had dal and roti to complete it, but it was very tasty.

Had a belter of a lunch here, the beer garden is beautiful. Found the food to be more than fairly priced. For instance we asked for a garlic bread side for 6 pounds . Was a very tasty pizza style garlic bread. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a good selection of drinks including gluten free options. Will be returning at some point when we’re back in the UK as our experience was very enjoyable

Superb food - we were tasting for their catering service for a wedding. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking were exceptional and the service was everything you could wish for. Outstanding

My friend has been and we were passing through on our way to Tetbury and had the best Sunday roast I had lamb and my friend the beef can only say it's better than my late mums and grannies they were always my favourite but it's worth every penny for these beautiful roasts that were served

Stumbled upon this place on my journeys... place had parking right outside of it and was looked very pleasing and welcoming to enter I could hear the people in the garden laughing, as I entered I was immediately greeted by the owner Kat with a smile and a very energetic vibe! She gave me a menu and pointed me to various seating areas (and there are alot inside and out) I chose to sit outside where I found the beautifully maintained beer garden area very pleasing loads of life in this humble abode, vegan & non vegan options available in the menu vast selection of ciders/beers/wine/ soft drinks Its beautiful at night too! The rooms are spacious very well presented and shower is nice and cosy! The area and my visit was overall very peaceful and very relaxing! I shall be returning 5 star service!! From kat and all the staff!

We visited for my husband's birthday with friends staying over night and having dinner The welcome at reception was lovely. We dumped our overnight bag and headed for the bar it was lovely and cozy and alcohol very reasonably priced we ordered snack olives bread and oil whilst waiting for our friends to arrive. The dish was enormous lots of crusty warm bread white and brown lots of olives too. Friends arrived and we headed to our table for the evening. The food was delicious from the rack of lamb, cod dish and the curries we couldn't fault a thing. The staff are amazing nothing too much trouble they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for my hubby's birthday what a lovely touch that was. Rooms are decorated beautifully and the shower was powerful and hot, bed was comfortable had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was of a excellent standard 3 of us had the English and one of us had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Good portion sizes too. Also the pastries were devine coffee was good too. Again breakfast staff were lovely and friendly. All in all what a little hidden gem of a place. The chef is fabulous his food is beyond my expectations he has it bang on. The whole team actually care about there guests and they all look like they love what they are doing which in this day and age you don't find very often. So please go and try it out for yourself . I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. I'm already trying to find the time to return and I only left this morning. Thankyou to everyone at the Ragged Cot you certainly have left a beautiful memory for me to cherish.
