Fantastic and very friendly hotel overlooking the sea. Nothing too much trouble for the team and it comes with excellent breakfasts and a welcoming bar. Perfect as a base for walking or the beach and is within easy reach of good restaurants and cafes

Great little pub ,big function room,plenty of parking ,pool table ,cheap drinks ,friendly staff,not sure if there's rooms you can stay in ,and in a great spot with 100 yrds away ,and the seafront right in front of you .

Had a fab night stay on 17th August, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable , the breakfast was very good with a lot of choice , overall well worth it for the price

The bar staff were friendly and attentive. Had a good time being able yi hold a conversation without having to compete with either a jukebox or televised sports. Really goob.

It was great to see the Hobby Horse open again and under new local ownership. The parts of the hotel we saw were clean, bright and fresh (lovely loos!). We had an excellent Sunday carvery and a drink and BBQ a few weeks later. Must be good the locals have come back! Wonderful hospitality on Raft Race Day with food, drink and a 'free' bouncy castle for the kids. Enjoyed by both adults and kids alike - well done Derek great idea and it worked well for the Hobby Horse and customers. Great function room/ballroom/wedding venue if anyone is interested. Will be back!
