The fish and chips from here are absolutely beautiful. On a nice day, it just makes the day special when you are sat on the seafront with a nice sea breeze with your fish and chips.
Visited for lunch. Was greeted promptly and with a smile. Order taken and food arrived within a minute. Packaging was all recyclable, with wooden forks and cardboard boxes. Chips were hot and served with a generous amount of salt and vinegar (perfectly done 🙂). Best chips I've had in a while. Small cod was much bigger than expected. Very good value. Service and food were 10/10. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again next time I am in the town.
I've visited Minehead about half a dozen time. In my experience this place does the best fish and chips. The batter is always crisp and the chips fresh. I haven't tried every single chip shop but I don't intend to try any other after using this one.
