Cozy hotel in a central area. Close to some very traditional pubs and along the river. While not well marked, there are several hiking trails near by, including a public foot path across St George's golf course - about 2 miles to get to the coastline. Offers a full breakfast. About a half mile walk from the train station.
Lovely place to eat. Great food that's reasonably priced, and fast friendly service. I had deep fried mozzarella sticks which were huge and delicious, followed by homemade pie and chips which I'll happily recommend to everyone. Also squeezed in a slice of watermelon and pomegranate cheesecake which was top notch.
Excellent foods served piping hot in a relaxed atmosphere. The service was top rate and the seating well laid out and not crowded. One certainly worth a visit again in the next few months.

Nice village pub, great garden space. Had a fantastic evening with local friends after making a special trip from Essex. Many thanks to Ethan for being a great waiter very professional and friendly. Good atmosphere food is good but not award winning. Would return.
