Visited the Exeter Arms with family for the Sunday quiz night and had a great time. The pub was busy and had a good atmosphere. Had the curry as part of the quiz night which was delicious. Great pub and will stop by again.
The food was fine and the service OK, but be aware that the menu and pricing are nothing like what’s on their website. ||We went in based on what we saw on the website, and the menu was much more limited than we expected (themed nights), and the food somewhat more expensive.
I can’t speak about the rooms as we just came for food. The pub itself is nice, typical old world pub. The food though is not good. If you’re coming here for food, be warned it’s very average. The fish in the fish and chips was grey, soggy, …

What a fantastic little gem! Beautiful old pub full of character, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Food was really good, great quality and very very reasonably priced! Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
