We popped in here whilst out on the motorbikes.

Stayed overnight in Moffat on our way to Glencoe and decided to try Spice India. Food was fabulous and portion size amazing...we would recommend to anyone to try it you won't be disappointed!!!!

We had poppadoms to start which were very nice, freshly cooked and nice accompaniments. I ordered lamb madras for main but the chef screwed up and I ended up with chicken madras instead, I accepted it and actually it was very nice, albeit not very spicy. My wife ordered chicken balti which she really enjoyed. I ordered onion rice and chapati, both of which were excellent, particularly the chapati which my wife stole half of. All washed down with a large Cobra beer for me and several glasses of merlot for the wife, she said the wine was excellent.
It doesn't look much from outside but we were both more than happy with the food, drink, service and pleasant atmosphere.

Such lovely service from Raj, we came in quite late because we didn't realise everything in Moffat shut so early, she made sure we got our food, which was lovely, and let us borrow her bottle opener for the night. Made us feel really welcome and the food was the best we had in Moffat.
