We had poppadoms to start which were very nice, freshly cooked and nice accompaniments. I ordered lamb madras for main but the chef screwed up and I ended up with chicken madras instead, I accepted it and actually it was very nice, albeit not very spicy. My wife ordered chicken balti which she really enjoyed. I ordered onion rice and chapati, both of which were excellent, particularly the chapati which my wife stole half of. All washed down with a large Cobra beer for me and several glasses of merlot for the wife, she said the wine was excellent.
It doesn't look much from outside but we were both more than happy with the food, drink, service and pleasant atmosphere.

Such lovely service from Raj, we came in quite late because we didn't realise everything in Moffat shut so early, she made sure we got our food, which was lovely, and let us borrow her bottle opener for the night. Made us feel really welcome and the food was the best we had in Moffat.
Stayed overnight in Moffat on our way to Glencoe and decided to try Spice India. Food was fabulous and portion size amazing...we would recommend to anyone to try it you won't be disappointed!!!!

Thursday night. Told me they were short staffed when I ordered. Gotta say it was worth the wait. I could see the Chef working away in the kirtchen all stressed out but the naan bread was freshly cooked and the lamb korma very tasty.

The food at Spice India is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. We are travelling Scotland and first time in one and half month we found a really good Indian restaurant with authentic Indian taste. I love the service at the place and the chef was very happy and friendly with the guests and he takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place. It’s a shame that we are going back to our home country and wouldn’t have another chance to go back there soon 😔 but the good thing, is we are taking some good memories with us ☺️
Had a nice take-away from here although Chicken Pakora was a bit tough and not the best. Chicken Jaipuri and Lamb Pasanda was excellent as was the Peshwari Rice and Garlic naan. Plenty of flavour and portions were good. A bit more expensive than the "usual" Indian take-aways but on the whole was worth it. Lady on the counter was very friendly and welcoming.
I had a takeaway ( garlic masala) and it was really really tasty. I’ll definitely be back for more.
Nice food. They were very busy. 30min wait, but worth the wait.

I was staying on the camping and Caravanning Club site and was recommend this place by the staff. Wow! Probably the best Indian takeaway I have ever had. The Pakora’s were beautiful. For the main I chose off the specialty hot dishes. They were not just blow your head off chilli. It was subtle heat and full of flavour. I can thoroughly recommend the South Indian Garlic Chilli with lamb, and the Garlic Masala with chicken Tikka. Will definitely be returning. (Soon hopefully)
