Worst fillet steak I've ever had or seen ! Asked me how I liked it , I said medium and it came out burnt as hell itself, my partners meal was overdone also and bit cold , I looked across the table at other diners and I think they were having the same problems, I use to come here often for a nice meal when it was named the Tannery , and the fillet and hanger steaks they served were divine , I've had a birthday meal there with friends I've took my parents for nice meals also when it was the Tannery but after that fiasco recently I'll never be back , I ordered a 36£ fillet steak and it was terrible , I've never seen a peice of meat killed twice before untill they placed the burnt offering before me , the hanger steaks that used to be served here would shame that fillet cut any day and at half the price , Definitely will not be back here again, ☹️☹️☹️

A pleasant dining experience, with vegan options on the menu. Unfortunately, there was no 'vegan desserts of the day' and only one of the two sorbets were available, which was disappointing. The vegan pasta bake was nice though (although, came with butter for the bread!)

Expertly presented establishment. Food to die for. Sunday Roast is not to be missed. Staff are super friendly. The venue can also accommodate all sorts of larger events. Overall outstanding.

My wife, son and I went last Thursday for Tea, I had the Fire Cracker Shrimp, the batter was a bit soggy but I thought nothing of it at the time, there was a sauce over it and it tasted ok. The following morning I was wakened around 6.20am with serious stomach cramps and was extremely ill the rest of the day, I’ll not go into the details but I had all the symptoms of food poising including passing blood. I phoned the restaurant out of courtesy and a word of advice to tell the chief to be careful cooking it the next time. The most annoying thing out of this, after still not feeling well a week later the lady Manager who took my details didn’t apologise once for my experience, basically she just took my details for their records and didn’t care that I had been left with food poisoning. I will not be back and I would not recommended this restaurant either, a very disappointed customer.

Took the family out for food today at the Father’s Day cavery, food wasn’t great, prawn starter still tasted like it was frozen, the turkey didn’t taste good at all to which everyone agreed and the deserts tasted like they’d been left out from last Father’s Day And don’t get me started on the entertainment, acoustic singer may as well have been singing in a box, learn how to use a mixer And the two girls really topped it off 🤣 £120 for the meal, for the service and what we received it would’ve been better craic taking the folks to a chippy fan

Have been before and we had a fantastic meal, but tonight it was awful. Kids chicken nuggets the chicken was brown an overcooked, just threw down on the plate. I'd got the squid before an an it was really nicely presented with prawn crackers an the slaw was lovely, tonight it was like slop an the squid was half the size. Salad an slaw was brown an whilted. Got the steak for my main which was just ok in comparison to when we were here last July it was like a different place. Defo wouldn't be back in a hurry anytime soon! I like to go somewhere were I couldn't cook better myself but this was just basic food no effort an at the price it was was extremely disappointing. Good points staff where lovely!

We decided to give this place another chance as we had been before and there had been a mix up with the menu. Really disappointing. Ordered the Fish with veg and saute potatoes and both fish and asparagus was overcooked. Fish skin was flabby and inedible. Another person got the lamb and jus and there was so much jus over the lamb ,with squashy fruit inside (which was horrible) and chopped up asparagus that the Lamb itself was lost. The lamb was overcooked and tough and very fatty anyway and most of it was uneaten. Lamb and jus was also only tepid. Children complained also that the garlic chunks had absolutely no garlic flavour at all. Service was OK which is why we gave it 2 stars but will absolutely not be back. Very very disappointing.
