Truly Scrumptious

This was our first time going to this amazing cafe! We can honestly say it was outstanding from start to finish, staff were very attentive and the food was amazing and a good value for money... that's all you can ask for at the end of the day! Portions were an ideal size that suited us both, we will definitely be returning in the future for many more treats and goodies! Highly recommended to anyone looking to endulge their sweet tooth, or for something on the savoury side- Truly Scrumptious is the place to go too! Thank you.

Had afternoon tea here for the first time. A lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches and more home made cake than we could eat! Mention any allergies on booking or arrival as I couldn't eat a couple of the cake choices although my friends say they were delicious too. A very popular tea shop, all the tables were full all afternoon with lots of regulars which is always a good sign. The owner's are very friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble. They have gone to a lot of effort to make it like an olde worlde tea shop with lovely crockery and flowery tablecloths and cushions. Very pretty. We plan to return many times. Superb!

When visiting Mold, me and my wife always try to visit this little cafe/tea room. The food has always been good - cooked to perfection, and served with a genuine smile. You get a good basic meal at a reasonable price. The place is always spotlessly clean (including the toilet). Access to the cafe and toilet is good for people with a physical disability. There is a public car park nearby (though it gets full up pretty quickly - especially on a Sat morning). The cafe's staff are always friendly and courteous. All in all, "Truly Scrumptious" is a very nice and "homely" kind of place to go to. (I have not been paid, or given any incentive to write this review).

My Mum and Auntie absolutely love this cute little tea room. Every time they come up to Mold now they demand we go there. Fantastic service, quaint china, lovely food and cakes. It was packed on bank holiday weekend. We brought friends from Germany there to try the fruit scones with jam and proper clotted cream and they loved it too.
