Love this place, our favourite cafe in Mold for breakfast. Friendly staff, Esme and Colin are doing a great job. It's well worth a visit when you are in Mold.
Called in today for a drink and a scone after a hard morning shopping - what a lovely little tea shop. Lovely service and possibly the best scones we have ever eaten. Will definately come in when we are in Mold again (from the Wirral).
Such a lovely little place very good service lovely food couldn't do enough for people the staff very polite x and I loved the lovely China mugs and saucers that our coffees came in x would definately recommend people to go and see for themselves x

Such an amazing afternoon, absolutely fantastic food & cakes for our afternoon tea for my daughters baby shower. A very friendly & warm reception from the hosts who went above & beyond to make sure everybody was looked after I cannot recommend highly enough we will definitely be back. I've been a few times with friends, afternoon tea, soup and sandwich, baked potatoes, all really fresh and tasty. Spotless, really friendly staff nothing too much trouble.

Truly excellent customer service, bought afternoon tea vouchers for my aunts birthday, they arrived the next day, so helpful on the phone. Have visited before when on holiday in wales and will again this year!

Such an amazing service from this lovely tea room, everything we had was truly scrumptious too! We enjoyed a full breakfast and a breakfast sandwich and couldn’t fault it. All the staff were really friendly and they went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend a visit.
Fantastic service and even better Iced Coffee!! Try the fudge as it was beautiful and refreshing today! Was in work, about to leave for an appointment and really gave me a boost whilst speaking to friendly staff!

The sign of an excellent eatery is that it is always busy. We eat here regularly and the food is delicious - love the homemade soup and the cakes. Everyone that works there are always so friendly and helpful. Just a lovely, quaint tearoom. Would highly recommend 😊
This was our first time going to this amazing cafe! We can honestly say it was outstanding from start to finish, staff were very attentive and the food was amazing and a good value for money... that's all you can ask for at the end of the day! Portions were an ideal size that suited us both, we will definitely be returning in the future for many more treats and goodies! When visiting Mold, me and my wife always try to visit this little cafe/tea room. The food has always been good - cooked to perfection, and served with a genuine smile. You get a good basic meal at a reasonable price. The place is always spotlessly clean (including the toilet). Access to the cafe and toilet is good for people with a physical disability. There is a public car park nearby (though it gets full up pretty quickly - especially on a Sat morning). The cafe's staff are always friendly and courteous. All in all, "Truly Scrumptious" is a very nice and "homely" kind of place to go to. (I have not been paid, or given any incentive to write this review).
Had afternoon tea here for the first time. A lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches and more home made cake than we could eat! Mention any allergies on booking or arrival as I couldn't eat a couple of the cake choices although my friends say they were delicious too. A very popular tea shop, all the tables were full all afternoon with lots of regulars which is always a good sign. The owner's are very friendly and attentive, nothing too much trouble. They have gone to a lot of effort to make it like an olde worlde tea shop with lovely crockery and flowery tablecloths and cushions. Very pretty. We plan to return many times. Superb!
My Mum and Auntie absolutely love this cute little tea room. Every time they come up to Mold now they demand we go there. Fantastic service, quaint china, lovely food and cakes. It was packed on bank holiday weekend. We brought friends from Germany there to try the fruit scones with jam and proper clotted cream and they loved it too.
We have been to this tearoom for many years and have never ever been disappointed. The service is perfect and the staff so friendly we live on the Wirral but often pop over to mold just for lunch. Looking forward to seeing you again soon
