Booked a table for 12, for an emotional reunion. We were given a table in a more private area, and given time for hugs etc, before we settled down to choose food. Service was excellent, and we were not rushed at all. Made us very welcome. Staff were very efficient, and attentive, but left us to have a really good catch up. Thankyou.

We love to book this restaurant for our post-production get togethers as booking is so easy, staff are wonderfully friendly, there is an excellent range of food and we know we can always change the booking numbers if necessary. It’s also wonderful that no deposit is required.

We booked dinner to celebrate a family birthday. The staff who were busy acknowledged us on our arrival and we were seated not long after. The waitress took our order in a nice manner - not pushy and very pleasant. Our food was served very quickly and the portions were of good size - birthday boy ordered the mixed grill and it was very good in quality and quantity. Dessert was fabulous too. Excellent time spent at Pen Y Bont wish we could eat there every night!

Fabulous. We were a party of 8. One of our group was Gluten intolerant and was really impressed with the menu. Said it was one of the best he'd come across staff were lovely and food was amazing. It was nice to have a 2 1/2 hour slot so our meal felt relaxed and not rushed in the slightest.

Your prices are spot on and your menu choices are excellent making choices almost impossible!!

We were a party of seven with the majority of us having the lunch menu. We were attended to extremely well by your courteous staff and not made to feel rushed when ordering.
The only hitch came when I went to the bar to pay and the poor guy couldn't get the computer to accept the discount you get with the lunch menu but he resolved it in the end!

We were greeted straight away and taken to our table, we were offered drinks then left a few minutes to look at the menu, we ordered our food which although one of the meals said took a little longer, they all arrived at the same time, and was wonderful could not fault anything, each meal was mouth watering. We then had pudding which again was delicious. So overall it was a most pleasant afternoon, which was for my granddaughter who is about to have her first child

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, lots of choice for food, serving staff were brilliant. I ordered a 3 course lunch meal of cherry tomato bruschetta with feta and pesto, gammon for the main and pudding was apple and cherry crumble that was to die for. Really enjoy all 3 meals! I was dinning by myself and it was a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend it to my family and friends and will be back again soon!

Very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Staff were very attentive and polite. Had to wait a while for the table to be ready but probably due to us being a large party of nine and not too much of a problem though. Overall very good.

Soup was excellent, steak was done to perfection and so was the chicken. We would highly recommend the feel good salad, compliments were sent to the chef and the waiting on and front of house staff could not have done anything better. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much for the lovely time we had.
