Always a warm welcome here, good selection of meals even vegetarian. Staff are friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble to them. Lovely atmosphere, sometimes you can find yourself having a conversation with people on the next table as well as the owner.

Went for my wife's birthday and was very impressed by the friendly atmosphere and excellent food. Not bad pricing either. Will definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous, food was amazing. My husband had the soup and I had the salmon and prawn cocktail, for our mains we both had fillet streak cooking to how we liked it and very tasty.
Really friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. Will be coming back very soon.

This is a wonderful restaurant with an exceptional warm welcome and lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The food and drink is excellent, with lots of choice and cooked to perfection.
There is an extensive wine list and nothing is too much trouble for the team.

Absolutely wonderful food and hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Food came to the table together and hot. What we liked most was the food was proportional and a nice size with shared veg etc.
However for those who may of had a slightly bigger appetite than others, it was asked if we would like more chips and veg.
That in my opinion is a good idea as it less waste rather than sending out a massive plate of food and people unable to finish leaving lots.
A good restaurant with positive food distribution which is of high quality.
Looking forward to returning.

This is a lovely family owned country pub. It is clearly popular with the locals, which I always think is a good sign. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the landlord and his staff. The food was really delicious and morish. I had plaice for main followed by a banana split. My friend had cottage pie followed by an Eton mess. Both of us really enjoyed the food and the ambience within the pub. This pub is an absolute gem well worth visiting for a meal.
