I am a coeliac and the food here is delicious haven’t had a bad reaction to Rug Bug Bennies food yet. Kids had a great time. Atmosphere is lovely we loved the decor and will be back!

Travelled from warrington to visit freinds , they brought us here fanfood friendly staff and a reasonable priced menu..next time we in montrose will certainly be eating here again ...great food

Good selection of dishes, smaller tapas portions as well as larger meals. Vegetarian and Vegan options clearly marked on the menu. We had a small tapas portion of chicken katsu served with rice, a houllumi burger with fries (vegetarian) and a vegan mushroom stroganoff. Food arrive piping hot and was all delicious.

Beautiful interior setting .. The food was fabulous, and the staff were superb , My friend and i stopped in the past earlier than service, and they let us in early .. the place is just delightful . If you have never been, get yourselves booked in. .. We will be back most definitely.

Lovely good quality food. Friendly service. Only lost a star due to speed of service but the quality of the food takes priority. Will happily head back again.

The place is perhaps a bit dark (I prefer natural light), but it has a peculiar and interesting atmosphere. Right side (bar tapas, top to bottom): King Prawn & Chorizo, Aberdeen Angus Meatballs and Creamy Garlic Mushrooms On Toast (amazing tapa). Left side, Chicken Parmesan with Garlic Bread. I will definitely come back for more.

Smashing place. Massive portions of great food, very friendly and helpful service, great atmosphere/music/decor. Rug Bug is a must visit if you’re in Montrose area and want a great meal out. Just be sure you’re very hungry. The portions are huge!
