Lovely food with sensible prices and friendly staff. The best thing is that with any main course you have unlimited access to the salad buffet ...which is simply gorgeous...and healthy !

Visited The George, Harvester for a bite to eat. We chose dishes from the tapas menu, nachos with pulled pork, chicken goujons & bacon potato skins. All delicious. We also helped ourselves to the unlimited salad bar & selection of rolls. We also decided to order a cookie & munchies ice cream sundae, which was lovely. Great food & great service. Thank you.

The guys at the salad bar were brilliant, very polite and were accommodating to my needs. The only thing I have a gripe with and I know I checked in earlier than planned was the size of the table we were sat at, it was very small and as it was my 25th wedding anniversary I would have liked a bit more space, but I do understand that your venue can get quite busy. Overall it was a very good experience for a returning patron. The venue was where I had dinner with my new husband 25 years ago and that’s why I chose to return 25 years later. As I said the only problem was the table size.
We’ve been a few times and had a great time today. Came here for a quick lunch and was served by Debbie, who was lovely as always. Service was quick, food was amazing, and we look forward to our next visit.
What a wonderful discovery... the food is super excellent we had chicken skewers and a steak cook exactly to my liking, rare. And what a wonderful discovery the salad buffet!!!! Top top top... by the way lovely outdoor seating too.
This place has improved very much. Food came out hot and good sized portions. Our waiter couldn't do enough for us, even went out of his way to make us Irish coffees. It could do with a little decorating in the toilets.
I really enjoy the staff that works here, so polite and helpful the service makes such a difference to your experience. I only ask if you could have a milkshake machine or traditional deserts like a knockerbocker glory! Also if you can upgrade the salad cart with more variety!
