I am from Newcastle and live in morecambe now and kennys chippy reminds me of when I was a child in Newcastle fish chips with batter (scraps) mushy peas and curry. Just fantastic 👏. A TASTE OF THE NORTH EAST IN MORECAMBE. THANKS KENNY AND WIFE AND STAFF ,GEORDIE IAN . Best chippy in morecambe

Just been with my family and it was the best gluten free fish and chips I've had in ages! Lovely staff heads up they don't do gluten free on a Friday and is only take away but definitely worth a visit also the rest of my family really enjoyed the regular ones too 😁 xxx

Although this place has no dining inside the main reason that we came to visit this lovely little chippy was from the other great reviews I found on Google when looking around for such a place to call on whilst we were in Morecombe on our day out with the weather being a nice sunny day!
I can only review on what we purchased on (Tuesday the 18th April 2023) and I had a large chips and gravy with 1 buttered roll and a can of Fanta, my full time carer had large chips and curry sauce and yes you do receive a large container with loose top wrapped up in paper with a free plastic fork which is much better than those wooden variety that you can choose if you prefer those.
The chips had a lot of gravy and I found the taste to be much better than other chipshops I have visited, the chips were very hot and tasty, and the thing I noticed mainly was that I had more proper sized chips than getting a lot of smaller hard chips that I tend to throw away, this was a very pleasant surprise and so was the price and with this in mind i would highly recommend this chippy if you happen to be in the Morecambe area and want something hot and tasty from their menu.
I must also mention that this chipshop does infact have a ramp that is ideal if you like me are disabled and use a wheelchair of some sort, I didn't enter on this occasion, I waited inside the car.
I'm sure whatever you choose will be of top quality going off other reviews and what we found to be true with our meal.
The staff according to my carer very friendly and chatty and the place to be clean and tidy.
Will definitely pay another visit the next time we come to Morecambe.

I believe you should ONLY be allowed to say TRADITIONAL Fish & Chips if you cook in beef dripping (tallow). Having eaten our National dish all over the country, Kenny's is by FAR the best! For context, my wife and I, and our friends, travel an hour to buy Kenny's!

This is the best chippy anywhere, great fish absolutely delicious and the staff are just super friendly, all the food cooked fresh while you wait.
